ABOUT ME

A lifelong passion for learning and inspiring future generations through music.

From my earliest experiences in music, I discovered a passion not only for performance, but for helping others find their own voice through the arts. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where I am building a strong foundation in musical performance, music theory, and teaching methodologies.

Throughout my educational journey, I have combined academic study with hands-on leadership experiences. I have served for two years as a Music Coach for the Springfield High School Band Boosters' Summer Marching Band Camp, where I provide individualized instruction, promote teamwork, and encourage young musicians to achieve their full potential. This role has strengthened my belief in the power of music education to inspire growth, discipline, and creativity in students.

In addition, my time as a counselor at Cumberland Youth Camp offered invaluable experience working with children of all ages. Through guiding, mentoring, and communicating with campers, I developed essential skills in building trust, fostering positive behavior, and supporting diverse learning needs — experiences that will be directly applicable as I step into my own classroom.

My musical skills span a broad range of styles, strengthened by an extensive performance background and formal training. I am passionate about both group and individual instruction, using compassionate communication and creative teaching strategies to help students grow. Whether through classroom management, lesson planning, or public performances, I strive to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music in each student I encounter.

In every role, I bring dedication, positivity, and a deep belief that music education can transform lives. I am excited to continue growing as both a musician and an educator, with the ultimate goal of creating learning spaces where every student feels encouraged, capable, and inspired.
